These figures represent a huge trend, in that many people have become economically inactive. It appears that many people have become fed-up with the employment market, and are not prepared to claim JSA. This is because, highly skilled and qualified individuals fear claiming JSA may force them to undertake unskilled roles, within retail, catering, and hospitality.
